Edoardo Molinari wins using our CALLIE model....
European PGA Tour. Edoardo Molinari (Callie) won the Johnnie Walker event in Scotland marking the 2nd straight week that the winner used our putters. Last week, Peter Hanson (Mollie) won the Czech Open. For both players, their victories were the 2nd of the year on the European Tour, Molinari having won the Scottish Open and Hanson the tournament in Mallorca, Spain.
Molinari finished the Johnnie Walker with three consecutive birdies to win by one shot.
Both Molinari and Hanson have qualified for the Ryder Cup team and will play against the USA team in early October in Wales. Hanson qualified by virtue of the European Tour's Ryder Cup "points" system (as did Edoardo's brother Francesco) and Edoardo was one of the three "captain's selections."
Nationwide Tour. Jonas Blixt (Donna II) and Russell Knox (Valerie) both scored final rounds of six under par 66's to tie for 7th place. While Blixt is an exempt player, Knox was a special invitee based on his 2nd place season's money standings on the Hooters tour. Knox's finish qualifies him for entry in the next Nationwide tournament.
